What is uCricket?

uCricket is a web-based app which allows cricketers to keep track of their performances.

Everyday Cricketers from all over the world come to uCricket.com to update their stats after they play a game.

Once they input their score their profile, stats, teams, grounds & results pages reflect their cricketing history.

Here is a brief description of what each tab associated to a player stands for:

PROFILE: The profile will give you a cricketer's batting and bowling snapshot along with any of the preset milestones he/she might have achieved.

STATS: This is a detailed breakdown of a player's batting, bowling and fielding performances. The history of matches the cricketer has played, that make up these stats, are also listed at the bottom.

TEAMS: This tab lists the teams that a cricketer has played for, along with the team's statistics.

Clicking on the Team Name or any of the numbers which make up the Team's stats will provide more specific details.

GROUNDS: The grounds tab provides a list of all the venues that this player has played at.

RESULTS: This tab lists all the matches that this player has played in. You can go ahead and view any specific match detail.

Once you go into a match detail you will be able see the other cricketers who played this game, along with their performances in the match.

FOLLOWING/FOLLOWERS: You can keep a track of your teammates, favorite local teams and grounds by following them. Every time you follow a player, team or ground, any activity related to that player, team or ground will reflect on your home feed.

Once your stats build up, the site is alot of fun. You can compare your performances with your fellow teammates using graphs to see who has the best batting or bowling averages. If you are playing twenty-twenty then perhaps the strike rate should be compared to select your team. Either way, planning and comparing for your upcoming games becomes an interactive process.
